50 Vintage Items Under $100 I'd Buy for My MCM Upstate Dream House

I have the urge to play pretend today and revisit this region of my daydreams. But even pretend me is still a woman on a budget, so I’m curating a list of vintage and antique pieces all under $100—from places like eBay and Chairish. Basically, if I had just bought a midcentury house in upstate New York, this is exactly what I’d buy to turn it into a well-designed (but not too precious!) home.

Reading: I’m about halfway through Piglet by Lottie Hazell and am very intrigued to see where it’s going... Up next on my list is The Guest by Emma Cline which I can’t believe I haven’t read yet.

Watching: We are a Severance household so we’ve been watching new episodes live every Thursday night; we love having something to look forward to during the week. We have also been enjoying the new season of The White Lotus.

Buying: Spring is well on it’s way here in New York and I’ve been slowly going through my closet to donate what I don’t wear or need anymore to make room for some new spring/summer arrivals. In my Depop favorites: Guess butter yellow jean shorts, L.L.Bean brown suede loafers, green/gold vintage post earrings, New York-themed silk scarf, poplin white maxi skirt.

Listening: I’ve been revisiting my 2021 NYC Marathon Playlist for the nostalgia and good vibes (something I’m sure we all need a bit more of at the moment).
